1960 - Station upgraded - Transmitter building constructed at base of tower

16 FEB 1960 - Site survey declassified

1967 A couple of weeks before the Arab, Israeli conflict, known as the now infamous 6 day June war the log flight collected all the station weapons except for a 410 shotgun.

1967 ENC Kelly and DC1 Echols constructed "SUXMOBILE" from two station vehicles that were surveyed. Various crew members assisted at one time or another.

01 SEP 1969 - Start of the revolution

DEC 1969 - Several station members were arrested for being spies while traveling to/from an American Oil compound for a Christmas party where there would be women. The American Embassy obtained their release three days later.

27 MAY 1970 - station is being dismantled as the U. S. is force to cease operations - All equipment, furniture, tools, etc. removed. Likewise for Wheelus AFB.
