04 MAY 1946: Unit 404 departed for Point Arena

01 JUN 1947: Lighthouse became a subunit of the Loran Station, however it was not realized until October 1953.

12 JUL 1947: A crew member fell of the cliff - was rescue with minor injuries

02 AUG 1947: Crew assisted in the reecovery of a geoloqist

03 MAY 1951: Five crew members injuried in an auto accident, flown out for medical treatment

1951-1952: Negotiations between Coos-Curry Electric and Coast Guard to upgrade service to three phase 120/240 from single phase.

25 MAR 1953: Bids will be opened for construction barracks and mess hall with accessory buildings.

22 JUL 1953: A 50 KVA motor generator set was installed. A report of prefromance was submitted to Commandant with positive review. Both Point Grenville and Cape Blanco were provision with this M/G set with a spare at Base

1961: New garage construction completed.

12 OCT 1962 – Station experience greater than 200mph storm

NOV 1970: Loran-A training for Gray Pt. Canadian technicans request to take place at the station, after 1 January 1970.

13 NOV 1975: Station experienced 145 mph winds
